Alabama Jeep & Music Festival
About the Event
We would like to invite all Jeep and off-road lovers to a fun-filled week packed with adventure, trail rides, vendors, community, and live music performances.
All trail rides will depart from the trail staging area. Jeeps MUST BE AT STAGING AREA 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. Jeepers MUST BE Checked-IN on their Waivers and Registrations for the Trail Rides.
ALL Trail Rides Require:
- TOW HOOK FRONT AND REAR – a trailer hitch/ball is NOT a tow point, a receiver hitch with the appropriate insert is a tow point.
- Tow Strap – Kinetic rope preferred
- 3/4 Tank of Gas
- Seatbelts for all passengers
- 4WD to be used on all trails when off pavement
- CB Radio strongly recommended or FRS/GMRS Capable Radio
A Trail Ride Leader and Tail Gunner will be present on all trail rides. In the event of a jeep breakdown on the the Tail Gunner will remain with the disabled vehicle so the rest of the ride can continue. The Trail Ride Recovery Team will respond to assist the disabled vehicle. Recovery teams are there to assist in the recovery of your Jeep from a hazard, they will tow your jeep out to the front of the event and provide basic assistance. The recovery team is not equipped for trail side repair. The team is in place to keep the trails moving and render assistance when and where needed.
STOCK TO MODERATELY MODIFIED JEEP TRAILS
30 Jeeps max per ride
These will last approximately 4 hours and will only have 30 Jeeps per ride. These will Travel mostly scenic areas of Talladega with some moderate trail terrain, creek crossings and small mud crossings with mild off camber angles to draw out the full potential of your 4x4 Jeep and grow your trail experience. 4WD Must Be Operational (Day & Night Rides)
ADVANCED JEEP TRAILS
20 Jeeps max per ride
REQUIREMENTS: 4WD, Lift, 1 Locker, 3/4 Tank of Gas, & 35” Tires – 4 Hours (Day Ride) and 6 Hours for Night Rides
There will be lots of elevation changes, amazing scenery, tight tree runs and turns, brush, steep climbs, drops, and off camber. CB STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. PLEASE NOTE: If your Jeep does not meet these requirements, you will not be permitted on the trail. No exceptions, no refunds.
